What We Check

How we authenticate

A watch is worth more when it's proven genuine and well cared for — our evaluation covers all of it before we name a number.

  • Movement inspection — genuine parts, running condition
  • Case and bracelet condition, prior polish or repair history
  • Box, papers, and original purchase documentation (if available)
  • Serial and reference number verification
  • Current market comps against recent sales, not list price

Request a confidential quote

Bring your watch in — with box and papers if you have them — for a walk-in estimate. No appointment needed, and nothing is listed or shared without your say-so.

Watch FAQ

Common questions

Do I need the box and papers to sell?

No, but they help. A complete set (box, papers, purchase receipt) typically gets a stronger offer than the watch alone, since it's easier to verify and resell.

Will you buy a watch that needs service or repair?

Yes. We factor condition and any needed servicing into the offer — it doesn't disqualify the watch, it just adjusts the number.

How is a watch's value different from melting it for gold?

A gold-cased watch is often worth significantly more intact than melted, because of the brand, movement, and collector demand. We price it as a watch first, and only fall back to gold-scrap value if it's damaged beyond repair.

Is my information kept private?

Yes. Evaluations are confidential, and nothing about your visit or sale is shared or listed without your permission.

What do I need to bring?

A valid government-issued photo ID and the watch itself. Bring box and papers if you have them, though they aren't required.

Can I get a loan against my watch instead of selling it?

Yes. We accept qualifying watches as collateral for a pawn loan if you'd rather borrow against it than sell outright — ask in-store for details.
